Covid-19 Safety Precautions

These are crazy times we're living through. Yet one thing hasn’t changed: we’re still having babies and they’re still growing up! Since documenting these moments will always be a priority for me, let me go over the steps I'm taking to keep you healthy and safe.

First, let me assure you that my family is taking all necessary precautions to ensure we do not come into contact with anyone who is ill. Avoiding indoor spaces, working from home, and keeping our children out of extra-curricular activities, are just a few of the precautions we are taking.

When it comes to your session, you can expect the following:

  • I will wear a mask throughout the entirety of the session. I ask that clients wear masks whenever you are not being photographed. I will maintain a social distance as much as possible.

  • I will be sanitizing my hands frequently and touching as little as possible. During newborn sessions, any wrapping or positioning of baby will be done by you, with my direction. This isn’t usually a problem as I do lifestyle sessions which don’t include complicated posing or wrapping.

  • Any swaddles, blankets, clothes, etc. from my client closet will be carefully washed prior to use, and immediately bagged to prevent any contamination.

  • If myself, or anyone in my family, is experiencing symptoms*, I will cancel the session and make every effort to reschedule within a reasonable time-frame. If you, or anyone in your family, is experiencing symptoms*, please notify me immediately. I am happy to reschedule your session. If rescheduling is not possible, your retainer will be refunded to you. I understand that this is not ideal, (especially if you have a baby on the way and time is of the essence), but your health and safety, as well as mine, is of paramount importance.

  • For indoor sessions, only immediate family will be permitted in order to keep the number of people at a minimum.

*Symptoms include any of the following within 14 days of the scheduled session:
- Temperature of 100.4 or higher
- Cough or any flu-like or COVID symptoms
- Loss of sense of smell or taste
- Living with, or exposure to, anyone with the above symptoms

Whew! Glad we've got this covered. Or masked, if you will.
